Digital Signature does not work

Hallo!

I use the pro version of XChange Viewer. Today I tried to sign a PDF. Unfortunately the result seems to be useless:

1.) XChange Viewer uses the wrong certificate of my keycard. The signature certificate should be used, which requires to enter a 6 digit PIN, but instead only the secrecy certificate (4 digit PIN) was used.

2.) The produced PDF is not accepted by any check tool like Adobe Reader X or online verification (https://www.signaturpruefung.gv.at/en/index.html).

Could you please have a look at this feature?

Do you have any Windows 7 machine available? If yes, can you try if the document signed by PDF-XChange on Windows7 has the same issues?

no, there's no Win7 machine in our office.

BTW, I think it will have the same issues, because when signing with X-Change Viewer I'm asked for the 4-digit PIN only and not the 6-digit PIN as all other tools do ...

we will certainly look into this further but cannot do so until after V3 has been released May 31st. If you can get access to a Windows 7 machine in the interim and test please do let us know the results.

I'm sorry that we cannot support XP with this right now, we do appreciate your understanding in this matter.
