Email attached pdf files don't open with dbl click

Recipients of emailed pdf files can't open them on double click. I have started receiving this complaint since switching to v2.5 (b201.0). I ran some tests comparing an original pdf file created by a quotation program that I use with the same one that was opened and then saved using save as in PDF-XChange Viewer. The original can be emailed and the attachment opened with a double click, the PDF-XChange Viewer version will not open with a double click but can be saved and then opened with a pdf reader. This problem seems to be unique to the combination of the quotation program and PDF-XChange Viewer. Other pdf files saved with PDF-XChange Viewer do not exhibit this problem.

I compared the two files with Notepad and they are visually significantly different. The original references PDF-1.3 and appears nicely formatted (line breaks at 45 characters) whereas the PDF-XChange Viewer version references PDF-1.4 and contains very long lines. I have no clue whether this is meaningful. I can provide copies of the files if someone at Tracker wishes to take a look.

It would be best if you can e-mail us both versions of the file. Send them to support@pdf-xchange.com - so that we can test the problem with opening ourselves, and we will take a look.
