Dynamic stamps

Post by cyndan »

Hi,

I have PDF Exchange PRO licensed and installed. I saw a post of how to get my dynamic.pdf file with stamps placed so they can be used by PDFexchange but it did not work for my Pro install.

I am on Win 7 64 bit

The paths listed in the post for viewer were not present so I created them. Did not work.

Do not want to reinstall acrobat viewer on all the computers again just for dynamic stamps

Hi Cyndan,

No you do not need to create them, there is an existing folder for the Viewer's stamps palette.

If you have access to already existing Dynamic Stamps from some other PDF application you can copy them into the folder below and use them in PDF-XChange Viewer v.2

in Win7 it should be:
"<DriveLetter>:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\2.0\Stamps\"

<DriveLetter> being the drive that Windows is installed on usually "C"

<User> being the account title that you are logged into Windows as, so if my username for windows is chris

then the path is:

C:\Users\chris\AppData\Local\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\2.0\Stamps\

If this path did not exist, was there a Tracker Software folder in the C:\Users\<your windows username>\AppData\Local folder?

If not go back to the AppData folder and check the other directories for maybe LocalLow or Roaming and see if there is a Tracker Software folder, and in that folder, a PDF-XChange Viewer folder and so on until you find the stamps directory.

As far as I know though, the path for the Stamps Palette in Win 7 above is correct.

Hope that Helps.

Chris

How to create dynamic stamps? As you can see in the attached image, my installed version don't allow me to create a dynamic stamp. This kind of stamp is not available in my version?
