sorry if im in the wrong place for this .
ive had pdf tools and xchange viewer for quite a while , the pro versions and this is the first time i have had a problem.
when i print one single web page with xchange it asks me where to save and then it does its stuff and then shows me the result. what i get tho, is instead of one page it gives me three . its splitting up the print out , it never did this before, i am confused.
hope i explained this right
xchange viewer 2.5 pro
thanks
one web page prints as 3 in print view

Re: one web page prints as 3 in print view
Hi bobwal,
thanks for the post. Neither PDF-XChange Viewer nor PDF-Tools can print a web page to PDF. For that you need a PDF Printer. The Viewer license allows you to print to the PDF-XChange 4 Lite Printer. Is this what you are doing?
If so can you tell me from what browser you are printing, EI, Firefox, other?
Also consider doing a print preview. You might find that the browser is actually sending multiple pages. Our Printer takes it's input from what the browser sends out as a print job. Often times the browser will do a poor job in printing pages with frames or other complex formatting.
You could also try printing the same page to a paper printer. If you get the same split pages it is the Browser's issue with how it prints not how we handle what it sends.

Hi bobwal,

No it isn't I'm afraid. The options in PDF-XChange 4 Printer are going to help you decide what to do with the print job. What you want to do is manipulate the print job before it is sent. That means using the print options in your web browser before you kit the final 'Print' button or use the browser's Print Preview features to get the page as you want it before printing.i notice that there are quite a few options in the pdf exchange 4.0 , is this where i change what the browser is sending to the printer?
