At the time I started this thread, I was using version 2.5.0201.0. I just installed version 2.5.205.0 and I'm not seeing where I can set the Select Tool as the default. Was that setting added and if so where can I find it? If not, is the setting going to be added at some point? Thanks

The "new version" Paul referred to back then is V3 of our Viewer - which has been delayed - and is still not released.

Is there any way you will expand that two more than just those two tools? I have just processed a request to allow the user to have non-sticky tools snap back to the pencil instead of the hand, and realized it's not possible. If you're going to allow 2 tools, how about 3 (or all of them)?

Hi schmoli,

after discussing this with the lead Viewer developer he has suggested that this would not be too difficult to do. He suggested we may allow any tool to be set as the default, or to remember the last used tool and set that as default next time you open the Viewer, or both options.

Since we are so far into this I can't promise if this will be part of the initial release or not. If not it shouldn't be a big problem adding it to a subsequent release.

You are trying to find the new version? It is not available yet so at present the Hand Tool is still the only 'default' tool.
