Is it possible to display two different pages on screen?
On the left side the first (index), on the right side page 54.
Maybe for the next version?

Yes, this is possible; you have to allow multiple documents and multiple instances as described in this knowledgebase article:

Once you do this you can open the same document twice and view different pages. This is not exactly the same as viewing two non-sequential pages in a side-by-side way in a single instance, but it allows you to accomplish the same thing.
