Imported comments are turned 90 degrees

Hi

I have marked up a few drawings with comments, these drawings have then been revised, so i have exported teh comments from teh original drawings and imported them into the new ones.

On 3 of the 4 drawings the comments have been rotated 90 degrees as if the page were protrate, this means tehy are in the wrong place and the wrong orintation.

How can i get them to import in the correct mannor like one of my drawings

Hello Ben,

The original and revised documents seem to be using different coordinate systems. While invisible to you - each page in a PDF file has it's own coordinate system, and when exporting and importing comments they are placed oriented relative to that, and when two files/pages use different orientation - you get the rotated annotations.

A couple of possible solutions are to try to e.g. "print" the revised document to PDF again - and then try to import your comments - they should now be placed in the correct position, or alternatively you can "print" the comments only from your original file, and then using our PDF Tools to "overlay" the resulting PDF with the comments only with the new revised drawing.
