Changing paper size

I am having trouble changing an A4 document to print on an 11 x 18 paper size for the printers listed below.

To produce the issue, create a new A4 document (it can be blank) in the viewer and press Ctrl+P.
The preview screen shows the A4 paper size but if I go to the Properties page for my printer and change the paper size to 11 x 18, the print preview screen does not change.
I thought it may be a problem scaling up but I tried the above using A0 and I got the same results.

I can use Tif-XChange or PDF-XChange and it allows me to change paper size but not for these two WorkCentre printers.
I have access to another Xerox printer (Color 560) that uses a different driver from "Fiery" (version 6.1.7600.16385) and it seems to work as expected.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

My work-around is to use Adobe Acrobat Reader (9.5.1.283).

Hi Charles,

thanks for this. We will likely have to investigate this further for those specific printers. Before we do that however I'd like you to update your Viewer to the current build (203) and confirm that you are not using "Choose paper source by PDF-page size" in the Viewer print dialogue.

Viewer updated.
"Choose paper source by PDF-page size" unchecked. No difference.
The paper size I am trying to print to is "11 x 17" and not "11 x 18" as stated in my original post.

I tried other documents with the Xerox WorkCentre drivers and got the same issue.
I cannot size up for this driver.

On a side note, I tried to "Check for updates" through the viewer and got this message: There was an error during downloading updates. Error (-2146697209)

It's probably an internal security setting in my company but I thought I would let you know.
So I downloaded the zip file and installed / updated that way.

the Live Update question does sound like a security issue where you are not getting access to the update server. The work around is as you did already...

Regards the Page size issue, I see you are using a driver from last year:

Driver: Version 5.246.7 on 2011.11.23

Have you checked to see if there is a driver update? If so please test it. If not, and this is the latest driver available let me now - we'll probably have to try simulating this printer and we do need to do this with the exact same driver version as you have.

I checked for the latest driver and it is what I have (5.246.7).

As Paul commented before - build 246 is from last year so please download and install build 262 from here:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/pdf-xchange-pro
And see if that makes any difference.

The driver information I have been refering to is the driver for my physical printer (a Xerox WorkCentre).
Are you asking me to download the latest PDF-XChange Pro version?
If yes, will it work with my current Serial Key?

no you are correct - it is the Xerox version we needed. I will take this now and see if we can reproduce the issue and let you know what we find.
