Time change

Post by enigma_hans »

Hello,

When I edit a pdf document (e.g. OCR) and I save the document the date changed is about 3 weeks before date created.
What goes wrong?

Hi Hans,

which time and date value are you referring to? Is it the file properties as reported in Windows Explorer or something else?

Is your System Clock set to the right time? When you modify a PDF using the Viewer and save it the System time is used. The Viewer itself does not affect the time stamp on the file itself.

Paul,

I have copied a pdf document to a local disk, used the ocr and saved the document. The date was correct.
I have found the problem, I use a document on my network drive. This drive had a wrong date/time. I have changed it and this drive synchronize date/time with a time server.

Thanks for your help
