Bugs

Post by -Lord- »

I posted this on fileforum (betanews).. didn't get fixed, so here goes. Maybe the next revision will take care of this.

"I've been using this app for years but have discovered a couple of glitches that should be repaired. There is no link on their homepage for bug submission, so here they are
1. when click on file open, and going to select the pdf you want, you are only allowed to choose ONE file at a time. For an app that does tabs, it should allow the selection of how ever many (control click) pdf's you want to open and run.

2. When going to print a pdf or portions thereof, you can select for example pages 2 - 9. Done and it works. Now when in ANOTHER pdf, and going to print, it actually saves previous instructions (2-9) rather than resetting and defaulting back to "All"

These are just two. Haven't found any others but I will post if/when I do. Other than that, the application is pretty decent."

Hello -Lord-,

Welcome to our forums and thank you for your comments and bug/problem descriptions.

The first issue you describe is actually working as it was designed in the current version of the Viewer. We are working on adding multiple file selection in the open dialogue in v3 of the same later this year. For the time being if you want to open more than one file - simply drag them from their folder and drop them in our Viewer - this will load them all.

As for the printing "bug" - it is true that the value you've entered would be remembered, but by default the radio button would be set to "All" - so all pages would be printed unless you specifically click on the "Pages" option.

Best,
Stefan
