Coming Windows 8 RT version?
When Windows 8 comes out for ARM devices, i.e. Windows 8 RT, will there be a PDF XChange viewer version for this?

Re: Coming Windows 8 RT version?
Hello RisomK,
I just discussed your question with our lead developer and am afraid that for now we can't give any insight on when a Win 8 RT version of our Viewer might be available.
Having said that - our Viewer will run in Win8 in the conventional mode - but Win 8 is a complex 'beast' and as you may know even comes in 2 'flavours' in the sense there are 2 builds - one for Intel based chipsets and one for ARM chipsets - the latter requires a complete rewrite of all code (at least that is our current understanding) to ensure compatibility (this is true for all software applications - not just ours) and the jury is still out in terms of how well supported this will be and if it will ever gain momentum to justify this - so it will be some time before any developer is going to apply the necessary resources and finances before some indication of how acceptable to end users and developers this is likely to be..
Best,
Stefan
