Bookmarks - faster working with shortcuts - how?

Post by Mr. Nice Guy »

Hi,

I'm trying to create bookmarks and will do it only using my keyboard, not my mouse.
So "insert" makes a new bookmark, with ctrl+right I get the next page but how do I change (toggle) from the "bookmark-focus" to the "page-forward-focus" and back?
At the moment, I click in the left or right area but this interrupts the workflow.

Hi Mr Nice Guy,

While still requiring the mouse - I find it faster to create and directly assign bookmarks to particular sections of the document.

Simply use the Mouse (with the tet select tool active) - to select a given word or phrase, and then use Ctrl-Shift-B to create a new bookmark with it's name already filled in with the text you just selected - and placed last in the list (this could be the last entry in an inner level of the bookmarks tree).

So you just go through your document and create the bookmarks as needed - and directly linking to the correct content.

Best,
Stefan
