PDF-XChange 5 Lite How to append to same pdf?

I bought PDF-XChange 5 Lite a few weeks ago & installed it on my new Lenovo laptop with Windows 7 64bit.

When I print to make into a pdf document, how do I append pages to an existing pdf document? I went into printer properties & changed the SAVE settings under "When file exists" tab to "merge with existing (append)". But when I try to save the file as the name of an existing document (because I want to append to that doc), it overrides that file. So there is no way to append to existing pdf doc.

I had the old PDF Xchange lite bought in 2004 on Windows XP & that worked fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

And thanks for your purchase. Your V5 license key is also valid for our V4 products - so you can use that temporarily - while we investigate this issue with the latest V5 Lite printing driver.

Hi Stefan,
I downloaded & installed Pdf X change lite 4.0 version, but the printer does not show up in the list of printers. I also uninstalled 5.0 version 7 reinstalled 4.0, but it still does not show up in list of printers.

Does 4.0 version work with Windows 7 64 bit? Please let me know about the status of fixing the driver problem for 5.0.

I'm afraid you found yourself stuck between a rock and a hard place...

We have determined that there is an issue with the last V4 build of Lite. As you pointed out it doesn't actually install the printer. This is being worked on right now.

As a better temporary solution you can use this older build of V4 Lite: http://www.docu-track.co.uk/PDFX4SA_LE_2.5.201.zip

Meanwhile we are working on both those issues for the next build.
