Pop-Up, formating

Post by Dmitry D. »

Hello.
It would be useful in Pop-Ups preserve the text formating
on the Copy|Paste operations within Pop-Up(s).

Hi Dmitry,

I'm not sure if that is covered by the PDF Standards. I'll check into that and let you know. Obviously if it's not it dilutes the Portable nature of a PDF if others using alternative readers don't see what you do.

Will get back with a confirmation on that soon.

Now PDF-Xchange Viewer supports the text formating in Pop-Ups (annot.richContents=...)
and I use it for own needs. Сertainly, other readers might not
display these formating. In my case it is not important, because
I primaraly use PDF-Xchange Viewer.
By the way I think there is no problem if other readers will not
display my «bolds» and colors.

Hi Dmitry

right, and I have confirmation that it is supported in the standards but we haven't support for it in the current version of the Viewer.

It should be in V3, if not the initial release then a later one.
