Mark passage with arrow keys

Hi,

I don't know, if it's already fixed with V3 but when I want to mark a passage with the selection tool with the arrow keys, the document jumps to the next page (when I hold SHIFT + RIGHT ARROW KEY) instead of mark rightwards, or scrolls down (when I hold SHIFT + BOTTOM ARROW KEY) instead of mark downwards.

Yes, V3 supports text selection using arrow keys.

Now is 2014. Where is V3 which supports text selection using Shift and arrow keys?
I see "Current Version:2.5.311.0(Updated on 28 Oct 2014)".
But it can't select text with Shift + Arrows or Shift+Home or Shift+End and etc.
Home/End move at the beginning or end of the document, not the beginning or end of the line.
This is similar to the behavior in Acrobat Reader, but when you selected Hand Tool!!!

what we were calling V3 was released as the PDF-XChange Editor. Download and install that, https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXVE5.zip (Build 5.5.311) and you will find the selection working with the keyboard arrows, shift, End and Home.

I don't need a pdf editor. I'm looking for a light but functional and comfortable viewer.
I don't know any other pdf viewer without ability to select text with keyboard. May be you know?
Will this feature be added in the PDF-XChange Viewer; all the more so because PDF-XChange Editor it is already realized?

PDF XChange Editor is a good product!
I found also ability to searching url and regular searching insensibly for user.
The only drawback for me is a big size, more than Viewer in 3 times.

Hi monsoon,

The new features and functionality (and the changed technology even) do require more space and code at our end, but the Editor should not take more than ~100 MB without any OCR languages installed. The OCR dictionaries could be quite large (100MB for Simplified + Traditional Chinese on my machine).
