Deploy PDF-xChange Viewer via LUP

Hello,

is there anyone who deploy the PDF X-Change Viewer via the local update publisher. I´ve some problems with the rules. I create a query for the Estimated Size in the registry. When the current pdf viewer is installed it show correct "Installed", but if a older version is installed the status “not applicable”.

Have anyone experience with this kind of deploying the viewer ?

Hi supporter01,

I'm not sure if other users on the forum many have experience with Local Update Publisher. I certainly have never seen or used it before. If you want to I'd be happy to take a look at it and see what I can find out.

Bear in mind that this is an entirely new installation/distribution method that nobody at Tracker has any experience with at all and as such I'm not too sure it it really is appropriate for me to be spending huge amounts of time on this if the issue is with Local Update Publisher, it's usage and not our software.

Having said that I'll certainly have a go and let you know what I find. Are there any details of what you are doing that you feel may help for me to know like your environment, publishing server and target OSes?
