Typewritter annotations not printing correctly

When using the typewriter in the PDF-XChange Viewer, certain steps have to be taken:

1. Printing directly after creating text in PDF-XChange Viewer.
a. Create the text
b. Print the document without saving or closing
c. Output is boxes for the text

Attached is a screenshot of the pdf annotation of what it suppose to look like. It works fine with XP machines but not Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks for the post!

Something to try here would be to make sure that you have the correct Windows font packs installed, as this is most likely an issue with fonts that the Windows printing system can't recognize, without the correct packs.

Also, could I get you to me a sample of the file; I would like to try to ascertain whether it is specific to your machine, or to the document itself.

Hi,

we have managed to reproduce this with brother printers - but not our Canon, Ricoh and HP printers - so it would appear this is print driver related - can I ask what type of printer is being used there ?

Also can I ask what build you are using there as the problem we find is nothing is printed (you get the strange Character?) also on the brother printers (when in Landscape - but OK for portrait)

PDF Editor version is 2.5.0199.0000. Attached is the sample file. Take a look at the boxes.

Yes, it was known issue. Please use the latest build of the Viewer
