PDF-XChange Viewer & Adobe Digital Editions

Hi,

On my PC I use PDF-XChange Viewer instead of Adobe Reader as it's MUCH better than AR. Anyway, I'm building a new PC for my daughter & she needs Adobe Digital Editions v2 installed for her E-Book reader.

I'e done some searching but haven't found an answer to my Q .... Does ADE require AR to be installed or can I install PXV (instead of AR) and ADE and everthing will work OK?

Hi MrM,

I'm not sure that I can comment on the requirements for the e-book reader but our Viewer doesn't integrate into Adobe Digital Editions. I would suggest you try it without Adobe Reader and let us know how that goes. You can always install Adobe Reader afterwards just for this explicit purpose...

Thanks Paul, yep that was a option I can try. I will post back my findings, however, it might be a while before I get back with a response. I've still got a lot of other stuff to install & then xfer from the old PC. I will be leaving ADE & the the DRM'd ebooks until last.
