Hi,
When trying to sign a pdf using PDF-Xchange Viewer pro version 2.5 build 210.0 I can see that the intermediate certificates are not included. Is there a way to accomplish this? I've searched the forum but have not found a solution yet. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Best regards.
Paddy

Re: Digitally sign Document does not include intermediates
Hi Stefan,
Intermediates as in intermediate CA's. I have a PKCS12 which contains 2 intermediate CA's and the certificate I use to sign a PDF. I can see that the intermediate CA keys are not included and this is problematic in those cases where the recipient of the PDF does not have them installed on the system that is used to view the PDF. The complete certificate chain can't be verified.
Regards.

Hi Paddy,
Thanks for the clarification there - unfortunately, we're unable to replicate the issue here, at the moment. Could you tell us who provided you with the certificate, and could you provide us with a link to their site? We'd like to test this here with their specific signature format, if we can.
Cheers, let us know!

Re: Digitally sign Document does not include intermediates
Hi Will,
I used a "PKIoverheid servercertificaat" or PKIgovernment server certificate which consists of:
Staat de Nederlanden Root CA -G2
|_Staat der Nederlanden Organisatie CA - G2
...|_KPN Corporate Market CSP Organisatie CA - G2
......|_[issued certificate]
Link: http://certificaat.kpn.com/pkioverheidcertificaten/ (site is in Dutch)
Regards.

Hi Paddy,
Thanks for getting that to us - we'll take a look and do some tests here, then one of us will get back to you with what we find.
