Problem getting a PDF to load from a website

Post by Altousa1 »

I am having trouble getting a PDF to load in PDFXViewer. The website is complaining that the PDF Active-X Plugin is not loaded and takes me to Adobe website automatically.
I have the Pro version and the PDF xChange 2012 Plugin is loaded.
Is their any way I can get this site to work wih PDF XChange Viewer instead of having to load Adobe Reader.
You product works perfectly for every of application we need to view and print PDF's for.
But this one Website. it is a Con Edison Project Request and management site the we must View and Print our Wor Requests to the Power company. it is basically a View/Print Button thatis suppose to just popup the pdf in the viewer.
Any thoughts would be greatlyappreciated.

Thanks

Hi Altousa1,

Thanks for the post - if the website uses an Adobe SDK (Developer Toolkit), then the site may demand that users use Adobe Reader specifically. I would suggest contacting them to find out if this is the case; if it is, then I'm afraid that there is little we can do.

If this isn't the case, however, then please let me know and get back to me with a sample PDF from the website (if possible)

All the best,
Will
