Recent Places ignored in Windows 7 pro

Post by Dahzee »

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but whenever I go to open a pdf I have created, the free viewer doesn't seem to use the Recent Places, even though this is what I clicked.
The list of available folders to open seems to be alphabetical rather than based on the most recent folders I have been using.

Again apologies if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find any mention of it.

Regards,

Dahzee

I am using Windows 7 pro 64bit.

Hello Dahzee,

And welcome to our forums. Yes the current Viewer is using a default window for selecting a new file to open, but the new PDF-X Editor due for release by the end of the month should allow you to use your favourites/recent places. You can download a beta version of the Editor from here:
www.tracker-software.com/pdfxve3

Stefan,

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm glad I wasn't doing something wrong and apologies for not acknowledging you sooner.

I will take a look at the new Editor as suggested.

Many Thanks

David
