Win 7 Prof, PDF XChange Viewer Pro 2.5/210 German
------------------------------------------
Hi
I downloaded a PDF-form from here:
http://cms.hypercms.net/repository/medi ... 070858.pdf
There is a lot of forms (some of them are out of order, this is maybe a PDF problem ...), and at the top of the page is a button "Save PDF". Pressing this button results in the attached error. The German string means "An error occurs during submission of form."
Two questions / remarks:
a) Is this a problem of the PDF or a problem of the software?
b) The message is a mixture of English and German.
Regards

Hello Peter,
The Viewer can't automatically submit forms online - but have you tried the PDF-X Editor:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-editor ?
Best,
Stefan

Hi Stefan
Peter
OK, that's clear now. But I thought that "Save PDF" is a "local thing"?Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:....The Viewer can't automatically submit forms online...
No, not at the moment. I just saw the information and will start later.Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:... but have you tried the PDF-X Editor:...

Hi Peter,
The button could contain any text, and do an online submission
Have you tried using the "File -> Save" option in the Viewer?
In any case - do let us know how it goes with the Editor once you've had the chance to test!
Best,
Stefan

Yes, of course. But it will take some time (Easter holidays and a lot of stress).Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:...In any case - do let us know how it goes with the Editor once you've had the chance to test!..

Report from One-minute-quick-test:Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:...In any case - do let us know how it goes with the Editor once you've had the chance to test!....
I took the file (both online and offline) and pressed the button.
Nothing happened: No error message / no local saving / no online submission (maybe in background, but I could see nothing)

Thanks for testing Peter,
I will see if I can get any more info for your sample file and will post it back here.
Best,
Stefan
