portable version truly portable?

Can anyone tell me whether the portable version (zip) leaves any traces in the registry at all?

Also, that little touch of an Ask search engine makes me nervous. Does that put its tentacles into your computer in any way?

As far as athe Potable version of PDF-Xchange is concerned it is truly portable and the registry is unused - however as far as any search engine goes - Ask, Google, Yahoo etc - we cannot answer for these specifically.
