"Buy Now"-watermarks even with correct serial

(Issue was already sent over an week ago by using the "Report a Problem..." Feature from within the Editor but I haven't received any response so far)

As suggested we tried using the code from the PDF-XChange Viewer Pro but all saved modified documents still have embedded watermarks.
We however have an active maintenance contract. Any ideas?

Hi wpa1160,

as I understand it the serial should work because it has valid maintenance, however it may be that the cause is due to the fact that this serial was generated prior to Jan 1st 2012. See this post: https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 62&t=17058

I've asked someone if we need to replace your serial key or not and will post the answer here soon.

Same problem here.

I have a serial number for PDF Tools 4.0 (generated in April 2011) that is also valid for PDF X-Change Viewer Pro. My maintenance contract is valid until April 2014.

I'm missing point 4d):
I purchased prior to Jan 1st 2012 but the maintenance contract is still valid until April 2014.

According to 4b):
"You purchased one of our products incorporating the PDF-XChange Viewer PRO prior to Jan 1st 2012 - but your maintenance expired on or after May 31st 2012 and you have not renewed your maintenance. We will provide as necessary a serial number giving full unrestricted access to the full feature set of the PDF-XChange Editor Gold build free of charge."

So if I get that right: If my maintenance expired I will receive a serial number free of charge and if I have a valid maintenance contract I don't?

Hello wpa1160,

If your maintenance expired After 31 May 2012 and you didn't extend it - we will issue you a new Viewer license that will be valid for the initial Gold build of the Editor as well. If you do have valid maintenance - you will get your key upgraded to an Editor one for free - and this new key will work not only in the first build of the Editor but in future ones as well.
