I can't measure distances

Hi,

this is my problem:

on my WIN XP PC some years ago I had installed PDFXCV Version 2.0 and I easily could measure distances. Exactly the same programm I installed on my WIN 8 notebook, but it is not possible to measure a distance. It's the same problem , if I install the latest Free-Version.
The cursor switchs to a crosshair cursor, but that's all.

What is wrong?

Thanks for the post - this definitely an odd issue. I can measure distance on my end, so it may well be machine specific.

The first thing to try here, would be to make sure that you have the latest build of the Viewer:

Please download and run the installer, which will install Version 2.5 Build 210. Failing that, any further details that you could provide would be most appreciated.

but I think I have discovered the reason: the PDF-File I tried is another one than I used before.
