Problem Loading Assembly

Post by bledford »

Hello,

I've downloaded the SDK with the intentions of trying to create a batch process for merging and OCR-ing multiple PDFs. After a little reading, I had the idea to load the xcpro40.dll assembly into PowerShell and have a script grab all documents in a directory and combine them into a new file. However when I try to load the DLL into PowerShell, I get the exception "The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest".

Has anyone tried to use PowerShell with SDK before? And if yes, Do you have any idea why I'm getting this exception?

Thanks,
bl

The SDK is not based on .NET, and cannot be used directly by the PowerShell. PowerShell can handle only specific types of modules - please take a look here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... s.85).aspx

When attaching files to any message - please ensure they are archived and posted as a .ZIP, .RAR or .7z format - or they will not be posted - thanks.
