Rotate a PDF in Windows 7 Preview

Hi,

i'am wondering why it's not possible to rotate a pdf in the windows 7 preview.
There are only the Page Navigation/Counter and the Size Changer.
I can't find any way to setup the plugin wo care's for the preview.

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forums!

While I don't know the exact reason off-hand, I suspect that this is because the Preview pane is literally just to give a preview of what the document looks like, regardless of page rotation. You will likely find that this is the same with Adobe as with our Viewer too.

I suspect that another reason may be that this wouldn't be intuitive for the Developers to add to the Shell Extensions (preview handler), as they're not meant to be able to handle that kind of modification. I'm also not sure that File Explorer would allow for such a modification to a file, even if only temporarily.
