Set Default Font does not work / Better communication

The PDF-XChange Editor no longer has the ability to set a default font from the context menu (right click).

How can I set a default font when using the typewriter tool?

Since you altered the menus in your new version of Editor (versus the older Reader), I would strongly suggest you delineate the two for the sake of clear communication on you forum.

The old solutions are mixed in with the new solutions, and it is very inconvenient to see solutions that do not apply to the new Editor. For example "Default font style for Viewer Typewriter" contains old solutions to this problem that do not work with Editor. Please do some organizing/updating here so we don't waste our time.

Hi Michael,

thanks for the post - the ability to save presets/set defaults for tools, hasn't yet been added in the Editor. It should be something that's included in the next build.

Also, do be aware that the Editor is only a partial release and is a new product, so the vast majority of the suggestions/work arounds that we gave and still give out for the Viewer are still very relevant, as most of our users still have the Viewer as their main PDF Reader and do not want to switch to the Editor until the full, final release.
