Feature Request - Multiple instances and dual monitors

Post by ajstrebel »

Hello all,

If I have 30 or 40 files tabbed open on the secondary monitor, would it be possible to drag the tab of one or two files over to the primary monitor and have them placed in a new instance of the viewer? This would be a huge benefit for the comparison of files that share common information.

Thanks for a great product.

Hi Andy,

while you can enable multiple instances of the Viewer https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... the-viewer you can't drag and drop tabs between them.

It's a great idea though and so I've added it to the wish list - maybe it will happen later in the V3 (Editor) development cycle.

Hi Andy,

good news. I was mistaken. I didn't realize this until it was pointed out by a colleague but this has been possible in the Editor since the first beta was released!

Try it out, it's cool... ;-)
