PDF Plugin Display Corruption

Post by Bhikkhu Pesala »

New to Windows 7 64-bit so haven't run into this before.

I was using the PDF-XChange 32-bit Editor build 302 on Opera 11.64 on Windows XP without noticing any problems.

On Windows 7 I see the screen corruption after opening the bookmarks panel or PDF Properties dialogue.

I uninstalled build 302 and installed both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of build 304, but the problem persists.

Using the PDF-Editor plugin for Opera 11.64 as the screen shot of my MIME types shows it's the 32-bit version that Opera detects.

It happens with any file, but you can chedk with the same file used in the screen shot from here:

Hi Bhikkhu,

Seems like you are using a bit larger fonts. Are those set in windows or in Opera?

Stefan

Both in Windows 7 (medium fonts) and larger toolbar and dialogue fonts in Opera (16 pix or 12 pt Verdana)

Thanks Bhikkhu,

We've created a ticket:
#1977: Broken view under Opera
Which will allow us to chase and fix this problem.

Stefan
