Feature Request: Brightness / Contrast / Gamma; More Formats

Hi,

Although, in my view, PDF-Xchange Viewer is the best pdf viewer around, I have stopped using it for a while, because another competing software has two features lacking in PXCV.

One of them is a setting for brightness / contrast / gamma, which you can see in the attached picture. As you know reading on a screen is usually hard on the eyes. One solution is to change the background color of the document. But the problem is that changing the background color only works on vector documents and is useless on non-vector/scanned documents.

The better solution is changing the brightness / contrast / gamma, which is implemented in STDU viewer. Another advantage of this feature is that the overall color pattern of the document remains the same. (This setting can be reached in the said software by pressing the sun and moon icon on the right lower corner.)

So that's the first request. Could you please implement the same setting in PXCV?

Another feature, which would be nice but not as important as the first one mentioned above is supporting other document formats including epub, mobi, lit, djvu, etc.

Adding these features would make PXCV the greatest viewer around.

thanks for the post. I have made a formal Feature Request of this. The reference is RT#1986: Feature Request: Brightness / Contrast / Gamma; More Formats (internal olnly)

While I cannot promise that this will be implemented it is on the radar. The Gamma settings are more likely to be implemented than the other format support as the latter would require significant changes and the product is, after all, a PDF Viewer not an ePub or Djavu reader.
