Problem with customize toolbars menu

Post by harri aalto »

I have problem while trying to customize toolbars. Im able to create new toolbars but not drag and drop commands to them. Also Im not able to move existing commands from existing toolbars by dragging and dropping them as you can expect.

Toolbars are not locked and Im able to access View-> Toolbars -> Customize Toolbars -> Commands menu sub-page normally. Only thing which is not working is dragging and dropping commands from that menu. Any proposals how to solve this ?

I have PRO version 2.5 (Build 212.0) from PDFXChange Viewer and Win8 as operating system.

Hi harri aalto,

Thanks for the post - could you please detail the exact process that you are using, as I'm not having issues here, myself and would like to be able to reproduce the problem.

Cheers, let me know!

Here is the process:
Firstly I have created own toolbar from View -> Toolbars -> Customized toolbars menu. Let's call it Harri's toolbar.
Secondly I have open menu View -> Toolbars -> Customize Toolbar -> Commands subpage. From that page I supposed to be able to copy commands to own toolbar which I have created but when I try to drag and drop commands from there the program shows "not allowed symbol". This applies to every command there.

Hi Harri,

Thanks for that - I'm definitely not having any issue with that here, so please make sure that you have the latest build (212) by downloading and running the following installer:

Cheers, let me know how this goes!

Thanks from fast response. I had the latest build (212) installed already. I removed the program from my computer and re-installed it but the problem re-occured. I do not know if there is something else which I can try.
