Problem with changing the text color of Typewriter

Post by qiting_zhang »

I have problem changing the text color of either Typewriter or Textbox. I typed something using Typewriter and double clicked what I typed and then I went to properties to change the stroke color to red (I want the text color to be red). However, all it does is only to change the border color to red, not the text itself. See the attached .jpg for the screenshot of what happened. How do I change the color of the text then? Btw, the PDF X-Change Viewer version I have is v2.5x

Hi qiting_zhang,

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forums - you will first need to have the Properties toolbar enabled. This can be done either by hitting Ctrl + E or going to View --> Toolbars --> Properties Toolbar (make it's checked).

Once you've done that, make sure that the cursor focus is within the textbox itself and select the text. There should now be an option on the Properties Toolbar to change the text colour, which is a separate feature from the ability to change the stroke colour.

Cheers, hope that helps!
