We produce two sided postcards, one side which contains color, the other which is only black. In the full version of Acrobat when we send these to our color copiers (Canon iR-ADV C5045/5051 PS3) and leave the option "Let printer determine colors" unchecked (which is the default), the copier correctly records only one page printed in color.
However, if we use PDF Xchange viewer to print these PDF's it will record two color pages as having been printed. There doesn't seem to be any equivalent option in Xchange Viewer that will prevent this from happening. Any suggestions?
Attached is a sample postcard, the first page of which does not contain any color.

Re: Printer Color Detection Problem
Hello cbhb,
Can you please try downloading and printing through our PDF-X Editor:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-editor
It's printing engine is different than the one in the Viewer, and I hope it will produce the correct result.
Regards,
Stefan

It's a Canon ImageRunner C5051, we're using a PS3 driver.

Re: Printer Color Detection Problem
Can you please pause your printer, print these two pages on it from the Editor, and send us spool files from your "c:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS" folder?
