Hi, Am I able to edit documents that are secured? I want to be able to highlight certain important text etc for our own internal use. We often get documents that are hundreds of pages long with only a paragraph or two of concernable information.
cheers

Re: Editing Secured Documents
Hi ezibore1,
If the document does not allow commenting - then the only option would be for you to obtain the author password from the document creator, and use that in File -> Document Properties -> Security to change the security restrictions on your file. After that you should be able to highlight the desired sections.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Editing Secured Documents
Hi Stefen, thanks for your reply. The documents come from so many different people and what we get is passed down the line so far that it would be impossible to trace back to the author. Is there no other way/ by pass for this problem? It makes the program only usable 50% of the time for us, very frustrating.
