Program crash while printing

Goodafternoon,

After using your software for quite some time, and im happy to use it aswell. I lately encountered several program crashes when I try to print a PDF file.
I tried emailing you using the inprogram option but I got an email back that the email was no longer monitored.

Ill just copy paste the information in here.
When I try to print attached document the program crashes and restarts itself.
Below the windows error report, it's in Dutch I hope you don't mind:

thanks for the post. The first thing you should do is update your software. Did you know that the PDF-XChange Viewer has been replaced with the PDF_XChange Editor?

You can update the Viewer to 2.5.214.2 using Help --> Check for Updates... or you can move to the Editor by installing this: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXVE3.zip

Do let us know how that goes?

I updated to the latest version(2.5 build 214.2) but still got the crash.

Hi Neele,

Thanks for getting back to us - I'm not seeing this issue here, with the latest build, so I suspect that there is something specific to your system that is causing this. Could you please make sure that you have the latest drivers for the printer that you're using?

Also, please do try printing from the Editor (download link below), as the Viewer is now only minimally supported, given that it has been replaced by the Editor. It would be up to the Dev. Team to decide whether or not they feel this issue would be considered critical.

Thanks for your quick response. I'll try the Editor and see if I still get the issue.
I tried printing with other PDF software on the same printer and this gives no issues. For obvious reasons I would like to use your software

I got one of the latests drivers installed for the printer. It's this specific .pdf file that crashes the program. I thought maybe it had something to do with the size of the file, its just slightly larger as the A4 format and the program is adjusting to the correct size before printing.

So it's a combination of that specific file, our Viewer handling it and the particular device! I believe the Editor will print without issues but please do let us know how your testing goes!

I printed the file using the Editor and that went perfectly fine. Thanks for the support. I'll use the Editor from now on.
