Five minutes later I saw something that made me go install PDF-XChange Editor alongside Viewer. It had a similar option to upgrade to the Pro version for a similar dollar amount, but didn't include the offer of a free copy of PDF-XChange 4 Lite.
I'm a simpleton and the product comparison chart on the web site used slightly different product names, etc. This leaves me confused which way to go. I'm OK upgrading either Viewer or Editor to their respective Pro versions as the money spent is about the same. I'm mostly wondering about the Xchange 4 Lite capability.
I've never had much need to author PDFs from scratch, like most folks mostly needing a viewer. BUT, the ability to convert existing files (especially the Microsoft formats) to PDF's is REALLY appealing, and I'd hate to miss that free offer.
Advice please. Viewer Pro + free converter or Editor?
