Error (IO subsystem]: Invalid access mode

We are working with PDF-XChange Viewer version 2.5 (Build 214.2).
When we open a PDF from an financial application and we make some notes to it and wants to save it,
we receive an error message (translated from Dutch):

"Error when saving document to: "C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp\filename.pdf"
Error [IO subsystem]: Invalid access mode

The document could not be saved. This file is possible in use by another program or user or is write protected.
You can save it with another name or to another destination."

It could not be in use by another user or program and the user has all rights on this Temp folder.

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

Hello owl99,

Are you opening these files directly in a browser? Then most likely the error is caused by the fact that the file is in a temp folder where our Viewer can't write. Try using "Save As" instead and save it on the desktop and all should be OK.
