Has anyone seen this? I received this message from a PDF sent by a client when I try to open the file in PDF XChange. It opens fine when opened from Adobe Reader. Anything we can do to avoid these messages besides open it with garbage? Running 2.5 Build 212.0 Pro.
Also, surprised we can't attach a jpg file in this forum.
that is just the splash screen for what is often called a 'Portfolio' - it is essentially a collection of files as attachments. If you look to the bottom left of the Viewer you should see the 'Options' button then go Options --> View --> Attachments (CTRL+Shift+A) and you will see a list of all the included files that can be opened.
The PDF-XChange Editor does this in a similar way but handles the splash screen a little differently.
Regards attaching a jpg, it needs to be in an archive to not be stripped. We disabled image attachments as we were getting to many 'inappropriate' images posted.
