I have just merged my first document using xchange editor. Great!
But.......... They are all different sizes so when scrolling up and down you have to keep re scaling the view.
How can i get them all the same?
Worked out how to print them so they fit on A4 but is it possible to get them to view on the screen as the same size?
Thanks
Jon

Re: different page sizes on merged document
Hi Jon,
If I've understood correctly, then I believe that you should be able to do this by using the "Fit Page" (Ctrl + 0) zoom setting and a Single Page page layout (View --> Page Layout --> Single Page).
HTH!

Re: different page sizes on merged document
Thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunatly that doesnt solve my problem. I have it with these settings.
I think the problem is that the pdf's i merged are all different. some from A4 word document. 1 from a photoshop .jpg (set as a4)
3 from scanned .jpg and 1 from a plan which is set to print at A0 or A1 i think. Obv all conveted to pdf prior to merging but obv very differnt file sizes!

Re: different page sizes on merged document
Hello Jon,
As you have noticed - each PDF page could have a size independent of that of the other pages in the same document. This is by design and pdf specification. The View settings will work by rescaling the way you see the pages, but their actual dimensions will still be independent and different.
To make all pages uniform size you will need to either use the Document -> Resize pages option in the Editor or "reprint" the file to a new PDF where all the pages will be the same.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: different page sizes on merged document
Hi Jon,
Thanks for the post - to reprint to PDF, you would need a PDF printer, such as our Lite or Standard printers (PDF-XChange Printer 2012). You could then set image downsampling options (from within the printer properties, when printing from the Editor) to "Convert to Greyscale". You could also force the document to be printed to a specific page size.
Cheers,
