(I'm using Viewer until Editor can restore sessions.)
In Viewer v2.5 Pro, although I have the following turned off,
Edit | Preferences | File Associations | Display in browser
I still see pdf's in Chrome v34 instead of Viewer when I click them on a webpage. Does this preference actually mean only "When clicking urls in a pdf in Viewer that download a pdf, display the download in the default browser, not Viewer"?

Hello chillrobot
In Chrome open a new tab and in it copy paste the following:You should then disable all PDF related plug-ins (including the Built in Chrome one and any other third party plug-ins you might have installed for handling PDF files), and then when you click a PDF link, Chrome should ask you where you want to save that file and you can then open it with the stand alone Viewer/Editor.

Stefan

Re: Disabling display in browser
That works well, thanks!
Btw, as mentioned, I'm looking forward to restore of last session in Editor. Its feature list says "Store/Restore of last opened files (last session)",
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-editor
Is that current or projected for a future release? Is there a newsletter that would keep me up on such developments?

Best,
Stefan
