Hi,
I've got the free viewer - the only thing I do is mark up research notes on pdf. I have set up several different highlighter colors and several different underline colors.
2 questions:
1. is it possible to both highlight AND underline text? (highlight means it is important, underlining means I am going to quote this) I played with the different blend settings, but I don't seem to be able to make it underline something that has already been highlighted.
2. Is it possible to put an icon in the markup toolbar for each color of highlighter and underliner? Then I could just click on the one I want, and not have to pop open an additional menu box.
If the Viewer can't do this, do any of the other Tracker software products have that capability?
Thanks!

Re: highlighting & underlining?, toolbar icon for each color
Hi ColorCodedXtreme,
Thanks for the post and welcome to the forums!
1) There are two ways that you can do this, in the Viewer:
a) If you underline the text, then highlight the text, you should be able to do as you need.
b) Go to Edit --> Preferences --> Commenting, then enable exclusive mode, you should be able to this in any order that you want.
2) I'm afraid that this wasn't possible to implement in the Viewer's UI, but it has been added to the Editor, so I'd recommend downloading and installing the Editor (link below) and using that to add the multiple toolbar icons:

Re: highlighting & underlining?, toolbar icon for each color
Greetings,
So I have PDFXChange Editor now, but I can't see how to add an icon for each color of hightlighter and underliner to the toolbar. I've looked at the customize toolbar, but it doesnt' allow me to specify that a certain color of highlighter should be added. (I've already created them in the custom style, I just need to add each one to the toolbar.)
Thanks!

Hi ColorCodedXtreme,
This needs to be done from View --> Toolbars --> Customize Toolbars --> Commands. You would then need to find each instance of the tool in the list and drag it to the toolbar.
