I am extremely angry!!! I have had several licensed copies of Pro Viewer for several years. I loaded the latest copy (2.5.308.0) to stay up to date and it changed my copy back to free. Plus I see no way to correct this rather than buy the thing all over again. Thank God I haven't tried to update any other computers!!!

First, you added the Ask Toolbar. We complained. You ignored us. Now this. I'm sick of it. You brag about Editor. I've tried it. It's full of bloat. It didn't even match Pro Viewer in it's capabilities.

Clearly, you've lost your way and long time, loyal customers have little meaning. I will NOT be looking to you for software to replace your products. You should be ashamed!

Your comments are respectfully unfair!

1: The ASK toolbar was removed from our products at the first opportunity available to us after our contract term with them expired proving we do listen to users - despite the fact that the contract was worth in excess of $100,000 per annum to us.

No current Tracker product includes any 3rd party Adware, Bloatware or Toolbar Addins AT ALL - or has done for almost a year !

2: Secondly - build 308 on installing checks the validity of your maintenance with us and if valid will provide a new serial number - if possible automatically in the background, if not online via your account and you can download and install using either the traditional copy/paste of your license key or a new Vault file which when double clicked installs the license on your system without the need to copy/paste - again at clients request to avoid errors in copy/paste.

The Editor offers extensive features over and above what the Viewer offered - but yes there are some 'holes' where features and methods users preferred in the Viewer are not available and we are doing all in our power to update/include and improve these where possible.

Are we perfect? - most certainly not.

We do get things wrong and there have been issues with the new protection system and the way this integrates with the backend of our web site in some specialized and specific areas. We have also found an issue in PDF-Tools and Our Office Addin (for new users only) where in some circumstances new style serial keys are not working so act in Demo mode and we will have an update out today or tomorrow to rectify this.

But we do listen and act as soon as is humanly possible to get things done - we cannot please all the people all the time and inevitably with every release and update some things are not finished or available as some users would want them to be - but improvements are made constantly and I am confident that for the most part these are positive, it does not mean we could not do more and we will continue to try harder to get things moving faster to bring outstanding issues and improvements to a conclusion - but we cannot work miracles.

I am sorry you feel as you do and if there is any specific we can assist with we will - just ask us, but please even frustrated as you obviously are do not use these forums to rant. Constructive criticism is appreciated and helpful- but if you just want to have a vent - send us an email and we can respond accordingly.

Otherwise we will simply take the obvious action of deleting your post and conclude you just wish to besmirch us to a wider audience.
