Hello.
We are going to use AX-Viewer and we are trying to build application, using it with Registration-Free Deployment.
Our test-application works well with 32-bit Windows but we can't build it to work with 64 bit Windows - Windows 7 or Windows 8.1
Is the manifest file is the same in both cases?
We got files from PDF-XChange Viewer SDK\Bin.x64 - their 64-bit versions and replaced them but we get Exception - "Class not registered".
Have we only to replace these files for working in 64-bit Windows?
How can we use Registration-Free Deployment for our application to work with Any CPU and 32/64 bit Windows?
Regards,
Stoil

Re: Free registration about Any CPU
Hi, again.
Reading other posts I built x86 test application and executed well in x64 Windows.
But I have other problem. We use virtualization application for our clients.
When I virtualizated test application it can not use AX Viewer control if it is not registrated.
There is icon of AX Viewer control.
How can I overcome this problem?

Stoil

Hi Stoil,
I know you've already written above that the Registration free option does not seem to work, but have you seen this (I believe) related topic:
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 687#p83687
And can it help you in any way?
Regards,
Stefan

Hi,Stefan
I want to ask something. In post, which you give me viewtopic.php?p=83687#p83687, Vasyl talked about Click-Once(Registrationless) method, which was described in SDK-help.
Is this Registration-Free Deployment?
And if it's the same, We wish to use it with our virtualization application but for now I can't make it for executing in x64 Windows.
Regards,
Stoil

Hi Stoil,
I can ask Vasyl if he has any ideas but I should point out that virtualising the application is not technically supported. It may be something we can and will support in time, for now we are going to have to see what we can nut out between our developers and you and our developers are very busy.
I'll ask if there is anything he can suggest but you need to be aware that this may not something we expect to nail quickly.

Hi, Paul.
Thank you for your quick answer but you did not answer to my question.
IS Click-Once(Registrationless) method, which was described in SDK-help but I couldn't see it, THE SAME AS Registration-Free Deployment, which is described in SDK-help???
Regards,
Stoil

Hi Stoil,
Yes most likely it's the same thing just expressed differently:
ActiveX Control Installation
