Occasionally I want extract (with PRO version) from a large pdf document multiple partial documents.
Therefore I scroll through the original document and extract e.g. pages 14-18
In such a situation some annoyances are frequently occuring:
1.) Xchange Viewer automatically generates a target filename for the extracted pages.
However when the first shot filename already existst then always a prompt appears what to do.
How can I set as default="Automatic" (=rename since the filename is unique) and don't bother me again in the future?
Even better: How can I let XChange Viewer generate the filename for the extracted pages not from the first page number but the date+timestamp(including seconds)? That would prevent such filename conflicts completely.
2.) When I extract the pages from original pdf WITH deleting them in the original pages then after the extracting the currently displayed page is the absolute page AFTER the last extracted page.
Example: when I extract pages 14-16 WITH deletion then the currently displayed page in the original page
is relative the 20th page of the original page.
So I always have to scroll back to the (new) 15th page to continue reading the original pdf for other
pages to extract. This is bad.
How can I tell XChange Viewer to stay on the (new) n-th page after extraction of pages n....m WITH deletion?
If the features are not existing: Could you add them in the next release?
All the mentioned issues are not that bad if they would occur once in a while.
But if you do that frequently its interrupting the work flow significantly.

Re: Automatic-rename and stay on page when extracting pages
Hi Matt,
Thanks for the suggestions - please be aware that the Viewer has been replaced by the Editor and no new features will be implemented in the Viewer. I would recommend trying the trial version of the Editor and, if you still find the same issues, let us know:
