PDF-XChange Viewer is by far the best program I've found in years for command-line printing of PDFs. But there is only one feature missing that would make it absolutely perfect.
Is there any hope that a future version would support a command-line switch that would specify that the PDF will print without scaling? At present, the command-line always seems to shrink the page to fix the paper size.
Many thanks for considering this.
Command-line switch for print without scaling?

Re: Command-line switch for print without scaling?
Hello mendelsonedward,
Thanks for the kind words.
The command line will use the same settings as what you used the last time you printed through the Viewer's UI. So if you turn scaling off in there, print a file then close the Viewer, printing from the command line should work without scaling now as well.
Please note that the command line is not intended for sophisticated printing, but just as a little extra to complement the main interface of the program

Stefan

Re: Command-line switch for print without scaling?
Hello Stefan,
That's a very useful thing to know and basically solves the problem I was asking about. Thank you!
What I think I'll do in my setup is copy a known-good copy of Settings.dat into the same folder with PDXCView.exe each time PDXCView.exe runs from the command line. That will assure that the no-scale setting is operating.
It would certainly be nice to have a command-line switch also, but this certainly does all I need. Thank you!

Re: Command-line switch for print without scaling?
I'm not sure this will ever be an explicit feature as it has a work around by using the above described method of using the last used settings.
