Recent Files List Saving

We have different projects which involve a number of documents (approx. 30-40) each.
Is it possible to store the "Recent Files" list with this document and reopen it at a later time?
Where is the "Recent Files" List saved?

Welcome to our forums.
It's not currently possible to save such recent files lists as external files.
As for where this list is stored - most likely in the %APPDATA%\Tracker Software\PDFXEditor\3.0\History.dat file.

For PDF-XChange Editor, the list with recent files is stored in a file:
%appdata%\Tracker Software\PDFXEditor\3.0\History.dat

One solution may be to build up a first list of files (by opening them one after another), then closing the Editor and make a backup/copy of the History.dat and then delete the original. Start Editor at new, and build up a second list. Close Editor and make a backup/copy of the History.dat (with a new name and/or to another folder), and then again delete the original.
Each time you need one of the lists, you can restore it to its original location and then start the Editor.

A more simple solution would be to store each range of documents in a separate folder.

For PDF-XChange Viewer, the list with recent files is stored in the Windows Registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFViewer\Documents\LastOpened
each document has its own subkey: 0001, 0002, 0003, ...
