Because I have clicked too fast, I need to know if there is any chance to restore a document (with modification) that I haven't saved (if a tempory files exist, or an automatic saved)
I made an OCR rending of a pdf and underline some quote, but a the end I forget to save.
Thank you for the post and welcome to our forums! Unfortunately, unless incremental save is turned on, there will be no file to restore to.
You can turn on incremental save by going to Edit-->Preferences-->Documents. There, under "Save Documents", you will need to tick the box next to "Always use incremental save". In doing so, the Editor will automatically save changes made to a PDF.
I hope this helps in the future!
If posting files to this forum, you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded.
Thank you.
Thanks for the post - unfortunately, Patrick misunderstood the nature of the feature.
Every time a change is made to the document, the Incremental Save feature will store this change as another revision of the document, but these revisions will still not actually be permanently written to the file until you manually save the document, so I'm afraid that this won't actually help with your problem.
We are going to be implementing an auto-save feature, but it's more complex than it may seem and we've had to push the priority down, a little, with the focus having been on the Editor SDK documentation, so we aren't yet 100% on when this will be implemented.
Apologies for the mix-up!
