How to add Search Providers in Customize Toolbar

Post by patrickjjs »

Hello support,

Is there any way to add search provider in the TOP Toolbar.
If so, we can just select the text and click the icon to search.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hello patrickjjs,

You have posted in the Viewer forum, but the Viewer is no longer developer, so I would recommend you to download and install the Editor:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-editor
In it you can add the whole "Internet Search By:" drop down menu to a toolbar. Once you click the drop down menu and select your preferred search provider - then it will be sufficient to just click on the button and it will directly search with the last used search engine. The drop down will be needed only if you need to change the engine.

You can also apply a shortcut to that command - so that while your one hand is busy selecting the text - the other one gets ready to press the key combination and start the search - without having to move your mouse all the way up to the menu.

Regards,
Stefan
