PDF Print Missing letters

I have a PDF document emailed to me that looks perfect. When I print it appears to miss random letters...

however on closer inspection it has actually missing just the letters ABCDE

Any ideas what causes this?

I was using PDF exchange Viewer for sometime without problem. Adobe Reader DC got installed by accident and stole the .pdf default. I then installed PDFX- Editor.


Most PDF documents print without a problem.

Welcome to the forum.

Please try the following steps and let us know if they work:
Open any affected fine in the Editor and go to "File -> Print...", click on "More..." in the Advanced Print Option tab. Once there, look for "Text Rendering Mode:" and choose "Outline for Embedded Fonts" from the drop-down menu (See the attached screenshot).
Try printing again.

Yes, you are OK to leave this option enabled. It will not affect the Editor's performance in any way.
